The members of the Upaya Sangha look forward to hosting David Loy the weekend of November 18th – 20th, 2016. In preparation for a day-long program Sunday, November 20th, Upaya Sangha is offering this 6-week course studying the audio of David Loy’s Awakening in Service and Action: A Study Retreat on Socially Engaged Buddhism accompanied by a background reading of Loy’s 2015 book, A New Buddhist Path: Enlightenment, Evolution and Ethics in the Modern World.
In this series of lectures, Loy offers a provocative analysis that is intimated in the following titles:

We will meet the 1st and 3rd Thursday mornings of the month, 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM beginning
September 1, 2016 and concluding November 17th, 2016.
Requirements: 1) An email account & computer with CD player or cooperative friend with same.
A CD of the audio will be mailed to you along with the first of the six study guides on the seven lectures.
